great photos from the movie. I don't know if I would say that it's good for young kids. The pictures and words are not clearly organized. so for young kids, adults will have to read and guide them along in the right order for the plot. It's not scary though. It may be good for those kids that have seen the movie or are familiar with the plot first. good pricing.
This was a gift for my grandson. He has seen some of the "Lord of the Rings" movies with his Dad, and wanted a Hobbit book that he could read (he is in second grade). Any books that will encourage him to build those reading skills are good!
This book has beautiful photos from the movie. The story is condensed, and simplified for a young person. However, I was disappointed by how thin the book was. Although in the description, it did say how many pages the book had, I somehow pictured it more substantial than this for the price.
This item arrived very quickly and in great condition. It's just as beautiful as the picture portrays and my son is going to love this when he opens it on Christmas Day!
Great book to add to your Tolkien/Hobbit collection. Beautiful photos of the movie stills and cast. I think it would be a good book for any young person who enjoys Tolkien and this film.
Was a bit thinner than I thought it would have been. But the pictures are nice. Not a lot of original hobbit material. But cute intro for the kids into the hobbit. Which is what I was looking for.
Great Movie. It leaves you wanting more and has a great intro to the next chapter. You won't be disappointed. It starts a little slow but gets better and better. Don't rush yourself or the story.
This little booklet lets us know just what part of the story will be covered in the first film. The introduction to the various characters will be helpful when I actually see the movie.
