My least favorite of the 8 we own from the series. Jasper is uptight. Joop is a slob. A lot of "Too wet" said Jasper, "TOO WET!" honked Joop. The plot is that Jasper is a neat-freak, and Joop is the fun goose. Then they run from some bees together and dive into a pond. It's saving grace, and why it's 3 and not 2 stars, is that it helps explain the concept of being neat vs. messy. But that's not a tough concept.
We adore the Olivier Dunrea Gossie series! It's perfect for babies all the way up to early readers. The text is simple but has a good story line. The pictures are cute and well done. And the best part is that I don't mind reading them over and over and over again! Highly recommend this series!
My little one loves these books! She's 2 and still learning to be gentle with books. These board books are perfect for those not so gentle times with her favorites! Very durable and can stand up to my little tornado!

I GAVE THIS BOOK TO " BOOKS FOR BABIES" AT MY CHURCH . THEY GIVE NEW BOOKS TO BABIES BORN IN THE LOCAL HOSPITALS .
A favorite in our house. My 3 year old loves to "read" this story by herself.
