We bought this book for my 7 year old son prior to our surprise trip to WDW. His nose was in that book from the moment we got into the car to leave for the airport until we landed in Orlando. It has great information about each park, and it gave him the chance to learn about the more thrilling rides before riding them, which then gave him more confidence and he was willing to try every ride after preparing for the “scary†parts. It even has pages for autographs which made him interested in meeting each character- something I thought he had outgrown. Overall, great purchase!
Awesome as always. I used to purchase Foder's book, but am unable to find it anymore. I started purchasing Birnbaum's several years back and it contains so much information even though I have been to Walt Disney World many times. I believe I read somewhere that the author of Birnbaum's used to work for Foders. That might explain why the book is so useful.
Book at rived damaged but still readable. I didn’t realize there were autograph pages in the back, which is super cute (if the pages weren’t bent, but it probably would have happened going out of a backpack at the parks, anyway.Looking forward to finding some useful tips and getting my family excited for our upcoming trip!
I bought this book and the WWW2019 book and I loved this one better. It was very informative and my grandson who is seven was able to read most of it. Highly recommend it for kids and adults.
My kids loved reading this in preparation of our Disney Trip. It’s very easy to read and give a great amount of Information. I’m glad I purchased it. Now I’m not sure how accurate it is since we haven’t taken our trip but by the looks of it, it’s great for the kids to get amped up for our trip!
I bought this book for my 6 year old daughter, who is an advanced reader. The written content is fine, but for a book geared towards prepping children for Disney, I found the photos to be quite lackluster. There were far too few photos of actual rides/lands (who needs a photo of the outside of a ride, or a cartoon graphic of the characters?). Both she and my 3 year old enjoy flipping through my color guide of the Unofficial series WAY more than this book. Regardless of age, I’d think anyone would be disappointed.
Do not waste your money. Outdated info. Do Not try the beat rides right away in the morning. Wait until after lunch as lines get shorter then.
This is a great guide for kids to get them excited about WDW! I wish it had more pictures of attractions, but it's chock full of good info and advice for kiddos.
