Let me start by saying this book is amazing. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I have read all of SC Daiko's books, but I have to say Nanny and the Bratva Boss one is one of my most favourites. It was extremely well written. The characters are well developed and believable. I loved their intense, sizzling chemistry. The story line is action packed, and fast paced but flowed brilliantly. I loved the emotions the story evoked and the element of suspense was very well done.SC Daiko is such a amazing and talented author. She did an incredible job bringing Taras & Zoe's story to life. I can't wait to see what she writes next.I highly recommend this book!
I wish I could give more then 5 stars, this book was so wonderful the MC were perfect no out side drama no ow,om stuff, I love how much Zoe had gotten Taras to open up about with his daughter, and how much he fell for Zoe and how he stood by her side in her time of need, I can't say no more or I will slip up with spoilers, except the bad guys got what they truly deserved. A great HEA ending. Would love to see Emma and Valin story.
I LUV,LUV,LUV THIS AUTHOR. I've read many of her books, have NOT been disappointed yet. I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO READING HER WORK!!
Carla's Four Star ReviewTaras Melekhov is a Bratva boss. He has worked hard to earn his place, but the thing about being on top is the fact that there is always someone who wants to take you down and take your place. Because of this, Taras keeps his daughter, Emma, hidden away from the world. When he hires a new nanny named Zoe, he has no idea that his life will change forever.This is a really good read! I fell in love with Taras and Zoe from the start! Yes, Taras is a crime boss, and yes, he has done terrible things, but I couldn't help but love him. And Zoe? She is just perfect! Her heart is full of love, and she won't stop until she breaks down every one of Taras' well constructed walls. The only problem? Tara's enemies now consider Zoe their enemy ,and they will stop at nothing to take Taras down. With all of these outside forces against them, the question isn't just about whether or not these two will find their happily ever after, it is all about survival.
This was so good Tara the mafia kingpin is one to be feared and a whole lot of attitude and rudeness he carries a lot on his shoulders that is until Zoe the nanny walks into his life to care for Emma who is 11 and its an instant connection he calls her Mary Poppins and I loved her attitude and strength it takes and a lot of guts to speak up to a man so feared and powerful but shes all about the children and family and is determined to make it right at any cost. I loved the music they shared it was different the way it was done and the instant connection was just there and I thought it was beautiful thinking into a whole new light as they become closer like no othe with huge decisions to make and oh boy the hotness. It was so well written and I really loved the characters.
This story just sucked me in from the first page. The drama, the mystery and intrigue and the twists and turns will keep you guessing as to what is going on. Zoe is hired as the nanny for Taras' daughter, Emma. I loved Emma, she was so cute and so sweet and had an air of sadness about her that comes through very clear. She wants to be close to her dad but for some reason Taras keeps her at arms length. Taras tries really hard to keep his hands off Zoe but you know that it's gonna happen sooner or later. The story was a bit long but I honestly didn't mind as it gave a lot of insight to Taras. When something happens, will Taras be too late to let Zoe know how he really feels about her? Loved, loved, loved this!!
In this book we have, Zoe who is 24 yrs old. She is from England, and not sure about coming to American to work for a Russian crime boss, Taras. But, she's here to help his daughter, Emma, not him.Taras is a cold Russian Crime Boss. His first marriage ended in divorce. But, he will give the world to his daughter, Emma, who is just about to turn 12. Taras thinks of Zoe as Mary Poppins. Taras plays the cello, every evening. He doesn't want the world to know what he likes or dislikes, or what he loves to do. He thinks he has been playing in secret until he hears Zoe singing one night.Emma is a young sheltered girl. She has been home schooled her whole life. Her tutors, and ballet teacher come to her house. She rarely goes out of their house. Zoe and Emma get along famously. Emma just loves her new nanny.Taras & Zoe are drawn together, they are about 8 yrs difference in age. SO, he's not to much older than she is.
Wow... starting this book I did not see that ending coming! I love how Daiko connects this book with her others as a continuation of some characters. I was shocked to see how she ended this book! I couldn't put it down. I voluntarily reviewed this book for an advanced copy.
