I am the type who needs to see the big picture and this book is very clear cut and gives you that big picture. It is very clear and easy to understand.. Buy it and start memorizing it before you start nursing school! :-)
So this is my first year of nursing school, and this book has been my handy pocket book! Super information and its just easier to pull this out than our 12 other books we have. Great buy! Descriptions are amazing. Lots of new terms new students never knew and it gives you the definitions. My favorite part is the ABGs! Good job Mr. Gow and thanks!
A lot of this is common sense, or drilled into your head in later classes, but I can see how this would be useful for a beginning nursing student.
I expected a lot more from this book than what was inside, I thought it would be a book with a lot more information in it. For the price, it is a good book to have to study by at the end of your nursing program

I really thought this would be packed with useful information but I've had it a few months and hardly use it. I'm a first year student I'm going to hold onto it, it has a lot of lab values in it.
This book has a lots of great stuff in it. And goes everywhere with me. A great nursing reference book. When you are studying for test day this is my go to information book. I love it and grades are looking good thanks Amazon
